Bid Coordinator – Maternity Cover

About the role

We are seeking a Bid Coordinator to provide maternity cover for an established construction and property consultancy in South‑East London. The role will support the preparation and delivery of bids, tenders and submissions, ensuring high‑quality documentation and adherence to corporate branding.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor public tender notices and identify suitable project opportunities.
• Express interest in tenders, download documentation and manage the bid/no‑bid process.
• Lead bid kick‑off meetings where required.
• Produce high‑quality submissions to support work‑winning and project delivery.
• Prepare written content, research, clarifications and responses for SQ, ITT, framework and fee submissions.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather relevant bid information.
• Maintain the tender tracker and request client feedback.
• Create bespoke presentations, organograms, visuals, case studies and company CVs.
• Manage bid visuals in line with brand guidelines and updated company information.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with bids.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation.
• Ability to multi‑task, manage competing deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft Office programmes.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat.
