Bid Coordinator & Writer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Bid Coordinator & Writer to join our head‑office team in Bournemouth. You will own the end‑to‑end tender process, turning technical project data into clear, persuasive bid submissions that help secure new construction contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor procurement portals, identify suitable tender opportunities and track each bid from inquiry to submission.
• Write, edit and proofread bid narratives, Pre‑Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) responses.
• Interview project managers, quantity surveyors and health & safety specialists to gather accurate technical information.
• Ensure all submissions meet client formatting, deadline and brand guidelines.
• Maintain and update a bid content library containing case studies, CVs, certificates and standard technical responses.
• Coordinate post‑tender reviews and incorporate client feedback to improve future bids.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Bid Coordinator or Proposal Manager, preferably within construction or building services.
• Exceptional written English with the ability to translate technical details into compelling copy.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
