Bid Manager

About the role

We are a leading architectural practice seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our London studio. You will own high‑value bid submissions, support strategic work‑winning activity and help shape the future of our bids function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle in line with internal procedures.
• Produce high‑quality bid documents using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency and client focus.
• Develop work‑winning strategies across multiple sectors.
• Coordinate input from partners, senior stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists.
• Track regional opportunities and manage procurement portals.
• Maintain and improve the internal bid library (CVs, case studies, project information, photography).
• Analyse bid outcomes, report performance and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with work‑winning and marketing teams and support the Head of Bids on strategic initiatives.
• Line‑manage and coordinate the workload of the wider bids team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end bid processes.
• Background in architecture, built environment, construction or professional services.
• Strong interest in architecture and design.
• Excellent bid writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign.
