Bid Manager / Proposal Manager

About the role

Join a leading specialist provider of contract cleaning services to the education sector in Leeds. As a Bid Manager / Proposal Manager you will own the end‑to‑end tender process, helping the business secure new contracts and drive long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, write and submit high‑quality tender responses.
• Manage the full tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to final submission.
• Review tender documentation and develop strategies to maximise scoring.
• Produce clear, persuasive, technically accurate responses, executive summaries, method statements and presentations.
• Support client presentations, clarification meetings and post‑tender interviews.
• Collaborate with operational, commercial and finance teams to ensure compliant and commercially competitive submissions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing competitive tender submissions.
• Track record of delivering successful, high‑quality bids.
• Exceptional written communication and editing abilities.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management or the education sector.
