Bid Writer – Business Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our Business Development team. You will craft persuasive tender and proposal content that positions HCRG Care Group as the preferred provider for local authorities, NHS organisations and other commissioning bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality, compelling bid and proposal documents for a range of health and social care contracts.
• Manage multiple concurrent bid responses, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
• Highlight HCRG’s innovative approaches and unique selling points throughout all content.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline bid creation and maintain an AI library for future use.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical information and align bids with business growth strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in bid writing within the health, social care or public sector.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience using AI to enhance bid development processes.
