Billing Controller

About the role

Care UK Residential is seeking an enthusiastic Billing Controller to join its team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and efficient billing for both local authority and self‑funded residents across our network of care homes.

Key responsibilities

• Raise invoices for residential customers, including contract, local authority, NHS and privately funded beds.
• Process transactions efficiently and ensure timely reconciliation and validation of all invoices.
• Ensure all transactions comply with the Authorisation Matrix and SOX (Sarbanes‑Oxley) controls.
• Liaise with Home Administrators, Managers and customers to issue accurate invoices and resolve queries.
• Work closely with the Credit Control team, care homes and Regional Directors to address account issues and prevent billing delays.
• Assist the Credit Controller in monitoring sales ledger balances and resolving outstanding debts.
