BIM Manager – Digital Asset Information Lead

About the role

The client is expanding its Asset Information Management capability to strengthen digital delivery across its estate. As BIM Manager you will create a "golden thread" of high‑quality, structured data that moves from project delivery into operational asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM strategy and ensure compliance with BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.
• Develop and manage asset information standards, including AIRs, EIRs, COBie and digital handover processes.
• Oversee BIM assurance activities such as model audits, quality checks and compliance validation.
• Integrate BIM outputs with CAFM/IWMS and other asset management systems.
• Support lifecycle asset management through structured, usable data outputs.
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and promote its effective use.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement across internal teams, supply‑chain partners and government bodies.
• Monitor performance via KPIs and drive innovation, including digital twin development.

Required profile

• Proven track record in BIM strategy and delivery aligned to ISO 19650.
• Strong experience managing asset information standards (AIR, EIR, COBie, IFC).
• Extensive BIM assurance experience, including audits and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate BIM with CAFM/IWMS platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
• Leadership experience with BIM teams or digital delivery professionals.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Advanced proficiency in Navisworks.
• Experience with asset information standards such as COBie and IFC.
• Integration of BIM outputs with CAFM/IWMS platforms.

What we offer

• Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
• Contract until 31/03/2027, IR35 inside umbrella.
• Day rate of £400.
