BIM Manager – Hybrid (Contract)

About the role

The client is expanding its Asset Information Management capability and needs a BIM Manager to lead the creation of a "golden thread" of data across its estate. This hybrid contract role (3 days office, 2 days home) runs until 31 March 2027 and offers a day rate of £400.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce BIM strategy in line with BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.
• Define and manage asset information standards such as AIRs, EIRs, COBie and IFC.
• Conduct BIM assurance activities, including model audits, quality checks and compliance validation.
• Integrate BIM outputs with CAFM/IWMS and other asset management systems.
• Maintain and promote the Common Data Environment (CDE) across projects.
• Lead, mentor and grow the BIM team while driving stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor performance via KPIs and support innovation, including digital twin development.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering BIM strategy and ISO 19650 compliance.
• Strong background managing asset information standards (AIR, EIR, COBie, IFC).
• Extensive BIM assurance experience, including audits and quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to work with CAFM/IWMS platforms and CDE environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
