BIM Manager

About the role

The BIM Manager will drive the implementation of AECOM’s digital strategy, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate project information models and supporting collaborative workflows across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the BIM liaison between clients, contractors, designers, and appointed parties to improve project efficiency.
• Collaborate with task team leads to produce and maintain project information models.
• Develop and update Information Execution Plans and related documents in line with EIRs.
• Support supply‑chain assessments and conduct BIM assurance activities, including compliance audits.
• Train colleagues, project teams and partners on specific BIM tools.
• Advise IT on hardware and software procurement to optimise technology solutions.
• Generate monthly BIM KPI reports for senior leadership and clients.
• Lead meetings to define project tasks, address issues and manage BIM resourcing and workload.
• Mentor team members and promote the value of BIM across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating BIM processes on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Information Execution Plans, EIRs and BIM standards.
• Ability to train and support multidisciplinary teams in BIM workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset for staying informed on emerging building technologies.
