BIM Manager – London, Bicester or Newcastle

About the role

RED, an international M&E consultancy, is looking for an experienced BIM Manager to join one of its UK offices (London, Bicester or Newcastle). You will lead the creation, management and delivery of high‑quality Revit/BIM models across a range of building projects, supporting both internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production and issue of Revit/BIM models for all business sectors.
• Create and maintain libraries, content standards and parametric families in line with RED and industry protocols.
• Audit 2D CAD drawings and 3D models to ensure consistency and coordination.
• Facilitate internal and external collaboration, designing and executing the BIM workflow.
• Develop and manage AutoCAD and Revit template files for various project types.
• Produce high‑quality rendered images, animated fly‑throughs and visualisations using Revit, SketchUp and Navisworks Manage.
• Represent RED’s BIM capabilities in client interviews and bid meetings.
• Provide training, knowledge sharing and mentorship to CAD and modelling staff, including potential trips to RED offices abroad.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BIM Manager or senior BIM specialist in the construction or M&E sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of training and knowledge transfer.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to international RED offices.
