Biology Teacher – Mixed Secondary School (London)

About the role
We are seeking a Biology Teacher to join a mixed secondary academy in South London. The role starts in September and covers Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, including Sixth Form. It is a full‑time, temporary position with the potential to become long‑term.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons for KS3‑KS5 classes.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare resources, laboratory activities and examinations.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an overseas equivalent.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Enhanced DBS clearance, up to date.
- Experience teaching Biology in UK schools (recently qualified or experienced).
