Biology Teacher – Secondary School (Hillingdon)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Hillingdon from September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging biology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess student work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the science department and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching biology in a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
