About the role
Immediate start in a Haematology & Coagulation laboratory at Band 6 level. The role involves carrying out investigations on tissue and body fluid samples to support diagnosis and monitor patient treatment. Full‑time Monday‑Friday 9‑5 with potential late shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct investigations on tissue and body fluid samples.
- Perform haematology and coagulation analyses.
- Operate DxH900, Stago Star Max 3 and Starsted ESR analysers.
- Use Winpath Enterprise LIMS for data management.
- Identify cell morphology and screen for malaria.
- Maintain laboratory quality standards and report results to clinical teams.
Required profile
- Experience working in a Haematology & Coagulation laboratory at Band 6 (specialist BMS) level.
- Immediate availability and ability to work Monday‑Friday 9‑5 with flexibility for late shifts.
Required skills
- DxH900 analyser.
- Stago Star Max 3 analyser.
- Starsted ESR analyser.
- Winpath Enterprise LIMS.
- Morphology assessment.
- Malaria identification/screening.
