About the role

Our client, an independent property management company based in Surrey, is seeking a Block Manager to oversee a local portfolio of residential blocks. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, with a hybrid working pattern that combines office time and site visits.

Key responsibilities

Full management of an assigned block portfolio
Stakeholder liaison and relationship building
Planning, budgeting and overseeing scheduled maintenance, including Section 20 works
Regular property inspections and site visits
Chairing Annual General Meetings (AGMs)

Required profile

Proven experience in block management
Valid driving licence and own vehicle
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Problem‑solving mindset with a client‑facing approach
Positive, encouraging attitude and ability to build long‑term relationships
Desirable but not essential: IRPM (TPI) or ARMA qualification
