Board Trustee for Charity Supporting Older People

About the role

Our client Brunelcare is seeking a dedicated individual to join its Board of Trustees. The role will involve contributing to the strategic direction, governance and long‑term sustainability of a leading provider of housing, care and support for older people across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent judgement and strategic insight to guide the charity’s vision and objectives.
• Participate in board meetings, committees and sub‑groups as required.
• Support financial oversight, including reviewing financial models, capital development and asset management.
• Contribute to development projects, marketing, communications and digital data initiatives.
• Help ensure the Board reflects the diversity of the communities it serves.

Required profile

• Professional experience in asset management, capital development, digital and data, marketing, communications, development or social care.
• Strong integrity, collaborative mindset and commitment to the charity’s values.
• Experience with development projects, financial modelling or options appraisal is highly valued.
