Bonds, Guarantees & Indemnities Billing Analyst

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities (BGI) Billing Analyst to manage correspondence queries and support Trade and Working Capital activities across the group. The role is based in Birmingham and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage BGI correspondence queries from international stakeholders.
• Support day‑to‑day Trade and Working Capital processing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
• Monitor operations to ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance and alignment with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and improve Trade and Working Capital processes.
• Identify improvement opportunities, develop procedures and controls, and produce performance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to projects that enhance service efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude with confidence when dealing with colleagues and third parties.
• General banking experience and keen interest in AI concepts.
• High level of accuracy and analytical ability to sort and interpret data.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft systems, especially Excel.
