Bordereaux Contractor – 3 to 6 Month Contract

About the role

This contract position supports a leading Managing General Agent (MGA) in London, focusing on bordereaux management, data extraction, and reconciliation for premium, claims, and exposure information. The role is project‑based for 3‑6 months and combines hybrid and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, validate and deliver premium, claims and exposure bordereaux.
• Review bordereaux from coverholders, TPAs and internal underwriting systems for compliance.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues before reporting.
• Extract large datasets directly from SQL databases and create repeatable extraction processes.
• Support ad‑hoc reporting requests from underwriting, actuarial and finance teams.
• Reconcile bordereaux against policy, claims, finance and capacity provider data, investigating discrepancies.
• Prepare historical data for capacity transitions and answer carrier queries.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with bordereaux management and data mapping in the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to work independently on short‑term, high‑impact projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data integrity.
