Branch Manager – Freight Operations

About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established freight company to lead its local branch. The Branch Manager will oversee the office and a team of import and export clerks, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and close collaboration with the finance department.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a small‑to‑medium sized team of office and clerical staff.
- Liaise with the finance department on budgeting, invoicing and cost control.
- Oversee recruitment, staff holidays, absence management and workload planning.
- Maintain a professional, efficient and compliant office environment.
- Drive performance towards company‑wide bonus targets.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a small‑to‑medium sized team.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- Enthusiastic, driven and capable of motivating staff.
