Branch Manager - Grimsby

About the role

Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders' merchant with over 500 branches, is recruiting a Branch Manager for its Grimsby branch. The post is permanent and full time, with 44.5 hours per week and alternate Saturday mornings. You will lead the team, build strong customer relationships and keep the branch profitable and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team, coaching and developing staff to meet targets and deliver excellent service
• Build lasting relationships with customers and suppliers
• Drive sales and operational excellence: lead sales strategies, manage stock, deliveries and day-to-day operations
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Recruit, train and mentor the team, supporting career progression
• Work closely with the Benchmarx/Tool Hire RD on sales, purchasing, distribution, warehousing, yard operations and safety
