Branch Manager

About the role

We are seeking a sales‑focused leader to partner with our Branch Director and drive the growth of our Bristol branch. The role combines front‑line sales leadership with full responsibility for the branch’s profit and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the branch to achieve sales targets, increase market share and meet profit objectives.
• Own P&L performance, manage revenue, control costs and improve profitability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Oversee daily operations including stock control, logistics, customer service and team performance.
• Ensure operational excellence, efficiency and high service standards.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Promote the branch locally to attract new business and enhance brand reputation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales‑driven management or branch leadership role, preferably in B2B, distribution, wholesale or commercial environments.
• Energetic leadership style with a passion for developing people and business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen, budget management and profitable growth delivery.
• Resilient, focused and calm under pressure, making sound commercial decisions.
• Track record of coaching and motivating teams through change.
• Operational knowledge of stock management, logistics and customer service.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM) familiarity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
