Branch Manager – Luton

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Luton location for Fusion Utilities, part of the Wolseley Group. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing the profit and loss of the branch, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach a team of 20+ staff members.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a strong sales focus.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility for the branch.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage a hire fleet of approximately 6,000 items.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
• Process‑driven approach to operations.
• Experience in merchanting or equipment hire is a strong advantage.
• Focus on sales, delivery and equipment availability.
