Branch Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Branch Supervisor to support the Branch Manager in a well‑established construction supplies business in Morley, Leeds. The role combines hands‑on leadership with responsibility for customer service, stock control and warehouse operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in achieving performance targets.
• Lead, motivate and develop a positive, customer‑focused team culture.
• Ensure excellent customer service and efficient issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate stock control and assist purchasing processes.
• Assist with smooth running of warehouse and delivery operations.
• Uphold company policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
• Handle cash, banking and branch administration tasks.
• Manage vehicle compliance, safety checks and legal requirements.
• Act as a professional, approachable leader and role model for the team.
• Assist with opening, closing and security of the branch.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience within construction supplies, builders merchants, trade, distribution or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy branch.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and team‑player mindset.
• Full UK driving licence.
