Building Services Contract Manager – Service & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Contract Manager to oversee service and maintenance contracts for large commercial and industrial projects across Lancashire. The role offers a blend of office and site work within a 50‑mile radius of Preston and provides a clear progression path towards Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance contracts.
• Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Supervise and support service engineers, guaranteeing safe and efficient completion of works.
• Price works, monitor contract performance and liaise with clients and internal departments.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery across heating, plumbing, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.

Required profile

• Current or previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Facilities Manager within building services.
• Willingness to commute to site visits and the Preston office.
• Proven ability to manage a team of engineers on commercial/industrial projects.
