Building Services Manager

About the role

Hays Building Services is supporting a leading contractor on the Isle of Wight in hiring two Building Services Managers. You will act as the technical liaison for service issues, working closely with project managers and service contractors to ensure designs are on‑budget, coordinated and buildable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on mechanical and electrical services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions with services contractors and monitor their performance.
• Review service design and installation deliverables for budget compliance and constructability.
• Attend weekly progress meetings with the M&E sub‑contractor.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, design teams, estate departments and facility management.

Required profile

• Previous building services experience on MOJ or commercial projects.
• Strong mechanical or electrical background.
• Ability to obtain any necessary security clearances.

What we offer

• Daily rate between £350 and £400.
