Building Services Manager

About the role

The Building Services Manager will lead the mechanical and electrical services packages across a portfolio of education, public sector, retail, leisure and healthcare projects in the Thames Valley and Oxfordshire region. You will be involved from bid and feasibility stages through to on‑site delivery, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with bid and estimating teams to assess feasibility, programme and buildability of new schemes.
• Work with design, commercial and subcontractor teams to develop best‑practice specifications, pricing and procedures.
• Oversee the installation of services on site, managing subcontractors and resolving technical queries.
• Ensure successful commissioning and handover of services packages.
• Maintain a hybrid working approach, balancing office, site and remote work as required.

Required profile

• Experience in a main contractor or specialist subcontractor environment, covering both mechanical and electrical services.
• Proven track record in pre‑construction feasibility and on‑site delivery of large‑scale projects.
• Degree qualified preferred, but strong industry experience will also be considered.
