Building Surveyor – Hybrid, £45k-£55k

About the role

An exciting hybrid opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor to join an award‑winning Chartered surveying practice delivering public‑sector projects across London and the South East. You will support a diverse portfolio of building surveying work while progressing towards Chartered status with structured training.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake site inspections and detailed surveys.
• Prepare planning and building‑regulations applications.
• Produce specifications, tender documentation and analyse tender responses.
• Assist with contract administration and manage project documentation.
• Manage projects such as stock condition surveys and EPC programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, preferably in social housing, residential, education or other public‑sector projects.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for regular site visits.
• Ability to commute to the Orpington office.
