About the role
We are looking for a Bureau Payroll Officer to join our Cheltenham‑based accountancy practice. The successful candidate will deliver efficient payroll services for a diverse client base and take the next step in their payroll career.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and meet all payroll deadlines.
- Maintain and update payroll information using payroll systems and internal databases.
- Process payroll changes such as new starters, leavers, salary amendments, holiday calculations and employee record updates.
- Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies for employees and clients promptly.
- Ensure payroll records are accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant with company procedures and standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience of payroll within a bureau environment.
- Comfortable working with multiple online payroll systems.
