Bus Driver (Trainee & Qualified)

About the role

Join the Elite Driver Academy at Go North West and become a key part of the public transport network in Greater Manchester. Based at the Queens Road depot in Manchester, you will receive training and, once qualified, operate routes serving thousands of passengers each day.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a bus safely on busy urban routes across Greater Manchester.
• Provide friendly, first‑class customer service to passengers.
• Act as a community ambassador, fostering positive interactions.
• Execute precise manoeuvres and adhere to timetables.
• Collaborate with fellow drivers and support staff to meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Positive, outgoing attitude with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to complete training and obtain a PCV licence through the Driver Academy.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality and teamwork.
