Business Analyst – Change Team

About the role

Alpha Bank London is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join its Change team. This hands‑on, delivery‑focused position blends business analysis with practical testing to ensure safe, high‑quality changes are released into production within a regulated UK retail banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clarify and prioritize business requirements with stakeholders.
• Lead discovery workshops and deep‑dive sessions to understand processes, issues and desired outcomes.
• Define functional and non‑functional requirements, including regulatory, security and control considerations.
• Analyse current‑state processes and design target‑state solutions, contributing to Target Operating Models.
• Collaborate with SMEs, technology teams and vendors to maintain end‑to‑end traceability from requirements through delivery.
• Support testing and UAT by defining scenarios, assisting defect triage and contributing to delivery sign‑off.
• Identify opportunities for process and ways‑of‑working improvements and recommend pragmatic changes.
• Assist business readiness activities such as communications, training, post‑implementation support and benefits tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering change within Financial Services, preferably banking.
• Strong understanding of operating in a regulated environment and familiarity with FCA and PRA expectations.
• Experience with UK retail banking products, especially current accounts.
• Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

• Knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory requirements.
• Experience in UK retail banking processes and products.
• Strong analytical and process‑design capabilities.
• Ability to lead workshops and support testing/UAT activities.
