Business Analyst - Distribution/Logistics

About the role

Our client is seeking a proactive IT Business Analyst to support distribution and logistics operations across the EMEA region. Working from West Drayton in a hybrid model, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and Global IT teams, ensuring technology solutions meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops and discovery sessions to capture detailed business requirements.
• Produce Business Requirement Specifications and functional documentation for development teams.
• Support systems integration projects, ensuring accurate process mapping and data integrity.
• Monitor project milestones, coordinate UAT, and assist with post‑go‑live adoption.
• Create user guides, process documentation and training materials.
• Provide regular updates to EMEA business users and Global IT stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar systems‑focused role.
• Experience in freight, logistics or supply‑chain environments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency, including Visio and Power BI.
• Experience with systems integration using APIs and EDI.
