Business Analyst – Financial Services (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a leading UK financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive high‑volume business and technology change in a regulated environment. The role spans operations, CRM platforms and wider change initiatives, translating requirements into clear outcomes while working 2‑3 days per week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and manage business change requirements.
• Elicit, challenge and refine requirements across operations and technology.
• Map current and future state processes across business workflows.
• Translate requirements into documentation, user stories and change deliverables.
• Provide structure to ambiguous requirements and complex change activities.
• Ensure alignment across business change, operations and technology teams.
• Support consistency across multiple change workstreams.
• Review and structure large volumes of process documentation using AI tools and Microsoft Copilot.

Required profile

• Recent experience as a Business Analyst within wealth management or financial services.
• Proven ability in process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Xplan or IRESS.
• Strong capability in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery and user‑story creation.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and creating clarity.
• Experience handling large volumes of process and operational data.
