Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join a globally‑operating organisation based in North Kent. Working directly with the Managing Director and senior leadership, you will provide financial and commercial insight, performance analysis, and strategic support to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business, financial and operational data to inform executive decision‑making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis in partnership with finance teams.
• Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities and present actionable recommendations.
• Prepare executive briefings, analytical reports and performance dashboards.
• Monitor progress of strategic projects, follow up on actions and ensure accountability.
• Liaise with senior managers to gather information and drive performance against KPIs.

Required profile

• Highly analytical with strong commercial awareness.
• Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, organised and capable of working autonomously.
• Professional, discreet and trusted with confidential information.
• Adaptable and calm under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong data interpretation and financial analysis capabilities.
