Business Analyst – Process Improvement & Automation

About the role

Our client, a market‑leading organisation in South East England, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to evaluate and improve its operational processes, systems and ways of working. You will work closely with Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and drive efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive review of current business processes, systems and operational workflows.
• Document existing processes and propose standardised, scalable operating models.
• Analyse manual, repetitive tasks and duplicate data entry to recommend automation and process improvements.
• Identify efficiencies to reduce duplicate data, accelerate order processing, improve contract management and enable workflow automation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to understand challenges and design improvement initiatives.
• Review and optimise the end‑to‑end order fulfilment process for speed, efficiency and customer service.
• Recommend suitable business analysis tools, methodologies and best‑practice approaches for capturing and managing requirements.
• Produce high‑quality documentation such as process maps, business requirements, gap analyses and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst focused on operational improvement, business transformation or change programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
