Business Analyst (SC Cleared) – 6‑Month Contract – Hybrid (London)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SC‑cleared Business Analyst to join a major technology and business transformation programme for a leading financial institution. The role is hybrid, based in London, and initially runs for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document complex business and solution requirements across large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, validate solutions and build consensus.
• Produce analysis artefacts such as process maps, user stories, data models, acceptance criteria and business cases.
• Conduct current and future state analysis, impact assessments and business process improvement activities.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Development and Testing teams to define, prioritise and manage product backlogs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services delivering change initiatives.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, process modelling and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in Agile, product‑led and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
