Business Analyst - Systems

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Analyst to join the Identity and Access team in London. The role will focus on analysing and improving the flow and governance of identity data across HR systems, directory services and identity platforms such as MyHR, One Identity, Active Directory and Entra.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse end‑to‑end processes and data flows across HR, identity governance and directory services to identify gaps and risks.
• Gather, document and prioritise business and functional requirements for a range of identity and access initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between HR, business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into clear specifications.
• Assess how identity attributes are created, transformed and consumed across the HR‑to‑directory lifecycle and highlight inconsistencies.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure PowerBI dashboards and database reports reflect current data and evolving requirements.
• Support the definition of consistent identity data standards for employees, contractors, non‑human accounts and store colleagues.
• Identify data integrity issues, process gaps and control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Produce process documentation, requirement specifications, data‑mapping documents and current/target‑state process maps.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to capture requirements, agree scope and validate solutions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capability with experience in HR systems and identity governance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to document complex data flows.
• Proven experience acting as a liaison between business and technical teams.
• Ability to work on multiple domains, starting with the MNSUK employee and contractor domain and expanding to others.
