A leading insurance organisation is seeking a strategic Business Application Lead with a strong technical background. The role blends IT leadership, process optimisation and stakeholder engagement to ensure software applications support the company’s business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business stakeholders and operations teams to deliver maximum business value.
• Align application strategy with the organisation’s strategic priorities.
• Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of IT applications.
• Manage multiple cross‑functional projects in a highly outsourced environment.
• Act as a change agent and technology evangelist across the business.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's market and its IT applications/services.
• Proven experience working in highly outsourced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with structured project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant software development techniques and technologies.
• Understanding of IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
