Business Development Associate

About the role

Miko, a leading consumer robotics company, is seeking a driven Business Development Associate to accelerate its international growth across Europe, the Middle East, the UK, and Southeast Asia. You will work on expanding the reach of AI‑powered companion robots for children.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target international markets.
• Build and manage partnerships with distributors, retail chains, and e‑commerce platforms.
• Support the creation and execution of go‑to‑market strategies for expansion.
• Research global market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
• Manage and grow existing accounts to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business strategies.
• Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Represent Miko at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or international sales within consumer tech, toys, or modern consumer brands.
• Exposure to international markets—especially Europe, the Middle East, the UK, or Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of global retail, distribution, and e‑commerce ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to travel internationally.
