Business Development Executive – Financial Data

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join a leading provider of real‑time financial news, analysis and data intelligence. The role focuses on selling subscriptions and data licences to investment banks, asset managers, law firms and other senior decision‑makers across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Sell subscriptions and data licences for a premium financial data platform.
• Target senior decision‑makers in investment banks, private equity, law firms and ratings agencies.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Attend client meetings and key industry events, with occasional international travel.
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in financial data, subscription sales, SaaS or business intelligence.
• Proven ability to close deals and exceed sales targets.
• Confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Comfortable engaging with C‑level executives and blue‑chip clients.
• Ambitious, goal‑driven and eager to progress to senior sales roles.
