Business Development Executive

About the role

Join a dynamic, growth‑focused food business as a Business Development Executive. You will support retailer brand growth by owning accurate tracking and reporting, generating actionable insights, and coordinating change‑management projects to deliver on time and in full.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tracking and reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Act as the day‑to‑day Sales Buddy for a defined set of smaller customers.
• Coordinate and drive change‑management projects across the organisation.
• Support competitive and market intelligence gathering.
• Assist with business foundation initiatives and ways of working improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in FMCG marketing, sales or category roles.
• Strong capability with Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable working with numbers, trackers and reporting.
• Confidence producing clear, concise documentation with version control.
• Natural interest in FMCG and retail customer behaviours.
• Exposure to product/packaging change processes and stage‑gate principles.
• Highly organised, detail‑orientated and accountable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commercially curious and able to build strong cross‑functional relationships.
• Commitment to continuous learning and self‑progression.
