Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join a fast‑growing international wholesale company. The role focuses on generating new B2B opportunities across the UK and overseas, building lasting client relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate CRM forecasts.
• Conduct proactive outbound outreach via calls, emails, video and networking.
• Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of new business acquisition.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Experience in FMCG, wholesale, distribution or import/export is desirable.
• Familiarity with selling to retailers, distributors or trade customers.
• Exposure to international markets or export sales is a plus.
