Business Development Executive – Workwear & PPE

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth in the workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) market. Reporting to the Director, you will combine phone and email outreach with face‑to‑face meetings to win new customers and expand existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across the Midlands region.
• Close sales deals and achieve revenue targets.
• Work closely with the Director to onboard new clients and upsell additional products.
• Visit clients for meetings and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of orders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar sales role.
• Knowledge of the workwear or PPE industry.
• Able to commute to Oldbury, West Midlands.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary £34,000‑£40,000 plus uncapped commission (5% on sales over target).
• On‑target earnings around £48,000.
• Hybrid working after an initial on‑site period.
• Paid mileage and a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9 am‑5 pm).
