Business Development Manager – Birmingham – £35,875 base + uncapped OTE

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join Yell in Birmingham. You will be the face of the company in the region, helping local businesses grow through digital marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and win new clients across the Birmingham area.
• Meet customers (virtually and face‑to‑face) to understand their goals and design tailored digital solutions.
• Negotiate, present and close deals that deliver measurable impact.
• Manage accounts for up to 12 months post‑sale, ensuring client success and retention.
• Use data insights to optimise ROI and drive ongoing growth for clients.

Required profile

• Proven success in field sales or high‑performing telesales.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation confidence.
• Resilience, positivity and a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Experience in solution selling or SaaS (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence (maximum six points).
