Business Development Manager – Chemicals Sales

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to drive sales of cleaning chemicals and hygiene products across the M60 corridor, covering Leeds, Manchester and South Chester. You will be the front‑line representative, building relationships with hospitals, universities and other organisations while promoting our kitchen design and installation services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through door‑to‑door visits, cold and warm calling, and client meetings.
• Manage existing accounts, ensuring repeat orders and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Collaborate with the internal admin buddy to focus on selling activities.
• Attend occasional sales meetings, training sessions and company events at the office.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably within the chemicals or hygiene sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel daily across the region.
• Residency within commuting distance of Leeds, Manchester or South Chester.
