Business Development Manager – Edinburgh (Hybrid)

About the role

ICONIC RESOURCING LTD is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis. You will shape and execute growth strategies, strengthen client relationships and support revenue generation across key professional‑services sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategic business development plans that generate new opportunities and drive revenue.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, advising on market opportunities and value propositions.
• Lead the creation of high‑quality pitches, proposals, credentials and client‑facing materials.
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, thought‑leadership events and brand‑raising initiatives.
• Mentor and develop junior business development team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets and cross‑functional initiatives to ensure a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience within a professional services environment.
• Track record of supporting senior stakeholders and delivering measurable revenue growth.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
• Experience leading pitches and managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly organised with strong project‑management capabilities.
