Business Development Manager – Financial Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new‑business acquisition for a market‑leading real‑time financial intelligence platform. You will work across EMEA and North America, selling subscription‑based data licences to senior stakeholders in investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers and energy/commodity firms.

Key responsibilities

• Sell subscriptions and data licences for a premium financial intelligence platform.
• Target senior decision‑makers at investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, trading houses and energy/commodity providers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑level executives.
• Attend industry meetings and events to generate pipeline.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Background in subscription sales, financial data, market intelligence or SaaS is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of closing deals and surpassing targets.
• Confident presenting to and influencing senior decision‑makers.
• Experience selling into financial services or energy/commodity sectors.
• Highly motivated, commercially driven and eager to progress to a senior BDM or sales manager role.

• Base salary £50k–£65k plus uncapped commission (OTE £110k+ realistic).
