Business Development Manager – Healthcare & Care (Midlands)

About the role

This is a field‑based, consultative sales position focused on the healthcare and care sector across the Midlands. You will generate new business, nurture relationships with care homes, nursing homes and other healthcare providers, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities throughout the Midlands region.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers in care and healthcare organisations.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry, quotation, negotiation to closing.
• Conduct face‑to‑face meetings and site visits with customers.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work closely with internal technical and operational teams.
• Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record in field‑based B2B sales, preferably within fire & security, access control, medical devices, facilities management or telecoms.
• Strong new‑business development and relationship‑building abilities.
• Consultative sales approach with the motivation to manage your own territory.
• Ability to work independently and handle the full sales cycle.

• Basic salary £35,000‑£45,000 (DOE) plus uncapped bonus.
• Realistic OTE £55,000‑£70,000+.
