Business Development Manager – Hybrid (Rochdale)

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join RISCO Group in Rochdale. This hybrid position blends field‑based client engagement with remote planning and pipeline development, supporting the company’s growth across priority sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities within target sectors.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with commercial priorities.
• Lead opportunities from discovery through negotiation to closure.
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate clear ROI.
• Engage senior stakeholders across customer organisations.
• Use CRM and data insights to manage pipeline, forecasting and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Pricing, Operations and Customer Support.
• Support onboarding to ensure strong customer adoption and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven “hunter” mentality with a track record of securing new contracts.
• Experience in solution‑based or consultative sales.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to structure compelling deals.
• Confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Resilience, self‑motivation and disciplined pipeline management.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and data‑driven pipeline management.
