About the role
Rexel is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth, increase market share and build a robust pipeline within a defined segment or product specialty. Based in our Glasgow cluster, you will work closely with branch teams to create lasting customer partnerships and deliver exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a data‑driven strategic roadmap to grow market share in a specific geography, segment or product group.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of customer partnerships and strategic relationships.
- Design tailored value propositions using preferred suppliers to drive innovation and profitability.
- Manage regional pricing, margins and contract profitability.
- Adapt strategies to market changes and promote multichannel adoption.
- Ensure outstanding customer experience and on‑time, in‑full delivery through cross‑functional collaboration.
- Upskill internal teams, establish clear account ownership and conduct regular performance reviews.
