Business Development Manager

About the role

Reynolds Food Group is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join its high‑performing sales team in Waltham Cross. You will own the end‑to‑end new‑business process, from prospecting fresh‑foodservice customers to securing contracts and handing them over to the Channel Account Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue and margin targets aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.
• Identify and target high‑potential new customers within the fresh foodservice sector.
• Develop compelling commercial proposals and tender submissions in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Network at industry events and conferences to expand the sales pipeline.
• Lead the mobilisation and onboarding of new accounts, ensuring a seamless transition.
• Work closely with senior sales leadership to shape and execute channel strategy.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and activity tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling within the fresh foodservice market.
• Demonstrated track record of winning profitable new business.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence preparing tenders and proposals.
• Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, tenacious and comfortable working independently in the market.
