Business Development Manager

About the role

In this highly autonomous position you will manage your own portfolio of SME accounts, handling the full sales cycle from prospecting to account management and connecting businesses with our award‑winning product.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME accounts through the entire sales process.
• Prospect and generate leads through research and daily outreach (30‑50 outbound calls).
• Convert leads into active clients and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Increase customer spend and satisfaction through proactive account management.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations in all client interactions.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development, account management or sales development.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, especially over the phone.
• Adaptable mindset with a creative approach to problem solving.
• Experience in B2B sales; fintech or financial services background is a plus.
